LiquidWeb uses solid hardware for their servers and their network. While they do offer high-quality shared hosting, they are more known for their excellent dedicated server and VPS hosting.
It's hard to say what Liquid Web's best strength is because they are pretty good all around, but if one thing had to be chosen, it would have to be their tech support. The support staff performs regular security audits. Customers can reach customer support through email and phone 24/7, and response times are courteous and as fast as any in the industry.
The technicians update their server software as soon as new builds come out—there's no messing around with these guys.
To be honest, Liquid Web is on the verge of moving up our grading system and grabbing an A+ grade. In fact, the only real knock on them is that they don't offer a full list of their features with their hosting plans. They will happily explain all the features to you if you call, but we find it odd they don't roll out the features list like every other host does.
