InMotion has been in the hosting businesses since 2001. They are one of the few hosts in this price range with two different data centers, one in California and the other just outside of Washington, DC.

They do not outsource tech support—all support is done from their Virgina Beach office, and they are quite good.

InMotion leans towards business hosting, but they also offer "value" hosting that is excellent for personal websites. The pricing is more than competitive and they offer all the features you'll need.
