We host more sites with Bluehost than any other. In part that's due to the fact they were the first host we signed up with that offered multiple domain hosting. Of course, if they weren't good hosts we wouldn't have kept adding new sites to our account there.

Support has always been very efficient and the server speed is also very good. The only downtime we've ever seen was once when one site was hacked. They shut it down because the hacker had placed a "phishing" script on the site.

I was glad to have my site shut down for that reason so no one would be victimized. As soon as I found the script and removed it I called them and my site was back up and running within a minute or two. I thought they handled the incident very well. The hacker found his way in through a free script I was trying, which is why we always use commercial scripts nowadays.

Bluehost has been around a long time, since 1996. That's one year longer than I've been online. They've got it down, you can't go wrong.
